Pouch Transfer

Moving money between pouches within Roo — how you redistribute your budget.

Pouches are an abstraction layered on top of your real money: the total across all your pouches always equals the total in your On Budget accounts. A pouch transfer therefore changes what your money is for — its intent — not where it actually is. Nothing happens in your real bank accounts; you’re relabeling dollars you already have, not bouncing them between accounts.

Contrast this with a Bank Account Transfer, which moves real money between real accounts but leaves your pouches — your intent — unchanged.
