Manual Account

An account you add to Roo by hand, rather than connecting it through a bank aggregator. Any account type can be created this way, but because every transaction has to be entered manually, it’s slow — so a manual account is not meant for accounts with high transaction volume.

Its primary use case is a manual loan — most often a student loan — where government rules and regulations frequently prevent the servicer from sharing transaction data for automatic tracking. Manual accounts are most often used together with a Payback Plan to prioritize and pay down the balance.
